Drowning in debt, beleaguered detective Sonny Busco needs to catch a break – and fast. Just his luck: he receives an enticing offer to deliver a briefcase to Santa Fe, New Mexico – no questions asked – for $2500. Not one to turn down the chance to make easy money, Sonny gladly accepts the task – but little does he know, he’ll soon find himself caught up in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game for possession of the contents of the case: a revolutionary creation known as “sentient steel,” which could lend its owners a formidable power as yet unseen on earth.
